Back Market is an online marketplace for refurbished devices. As the Head of Product APAC, I lead the product team to expand Back Market’s mission to reduce e-waste across the region.
Since joining I have overseen the launch of 3 core markets: Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
Each country comes with its own unique GTM strategy, unique user behaviours, and user expectations
At PayPay, I was responsible for the PayPay for Business platform.
During my time, I implemented light Agile and SCRUM rituals to help organise the design and development, and QA teams.
I oversaw the redesign of the Tablet and Mobile App, which boosted the store ratings from 2.8 to 4.2
After the redesign, I planned and executed the Platform unifcation project to merge the Desktop and Mobile app experience.
As the Head of Product for MetroResidences, I was responsible for the management of the design, and development teams.
With my team we created a new Brand identity, and redesigned the website to bring it up to contempory standards, helping to boost bookings and time spent on the website.
As the company grew, my team and I developed a robust Property Management System (PMS) from the ground up, launching it for the Singapore and Tokyo teams.
At Huge Inc, I lead the UX tracks of work for client projects.
I spent a majority of time at Huge with their client, SK-II. Here I lead the website redesign, and sales app development.
The sales app was a hybrid tool for both sales and inventory management, as well as customer service. After its launch in Japan, their sales agents reported time savings of up to 30 minutes per day, per agent on administrative takes.
And with an update visual design, they were proud to show the app to their customers during consultation.
During my time at Publicis Sapient I was focussed primarily on Financial Services clients, and pitching ideas to clients.
I helped lead the UX track for the MetLife website redesign project in Shanghai.
The most intestesting project was with CitiBank in Singapore, where I helped them build a live Customer Journey that was mapped to their benchmarking and NPS scores. Giving Citibank the ability to instantly see how their Customer Experience was tracking across all the different divisions.
This is where I started my UX career.
As one of the first members of the Design team in the bank, it was our job to sell the merits of Design Thinking to the organisation.
We helped teams both in Retail and Business banking use human-centered design techniques and tools to guide their decisioning processes and help generate value for both the Bank and the Customers.
Here I learnt how to conduct contextual interviews, develop user test scripts, observational research, wireframing, and prototyping.
